In the first half of 2025, Photon Health will support Twentyeight Health in expanding affordable access to critical medication like birth control for its growing user base. Half of Twentyeight Health’s 100,000+ users make less than $20,000 per year, making them reliant on services that accept Medicaid. Photon Health’s platform will help ensure all Twentyeight Health users — regardless of geographic location or income level — can fill their prescriptions quickly and seamlessly, filling gaps in pharmacy deserts at a pivotal moment for women’s health.
With its pioneering clinical and patient tools, Photon Health will:
- Expand medication access smoothly. Photon can quickly integrate with new mail-order pharmacy partners to support Twentyeight Health as it expands Medicaid partnerships. A hub for pharmacy integrations, Photon can maintain existing integrations while building new ones.
- Reduce prescription management issues for clinical teams and patients. Photon’s one-click prescribing solution, which can integrate with any EHR, eliminates prescription data re-entry. Its web-based patient experience allows patients to reroute a prescription to another pharmacy if needed, reducing tedious pharmacy transfer work.
- Offer patients transparency on medication status. For those who pick up medications at their local pharmacies, Photon provides a text-based patient experience that keeps patients in the loop and offers 24/7 support.
